Emerline Ji is a seasoned marketer, creative producer, and writer based in NYC.

What I'm doing

Currently, I’m the Head of Brand and Content at CreativeMornings, the world’s largest face-to-face creative community. I serve full-time on the CreativeMornings HQ team, where I lead all of our brand and content marketing efforts.

Outside of the office, I publish an occasional newsletter called PAPER TRAIL and am creating a podcast about Korean artists and their music called Seoul Tribe.

What I value

I work with artful brands and communities to delight and empower their people through creative strategies, intentional curation, and timely stories. I believe the practice of consistently taking "ideas with legs" from start to finish is a valuable and underappreciated skill to have these days.

Past lives

Prior to CreativeMornings, I worked at Squarespace on their communications team and served the Impact Hub LA community as a host. My career got its start back when I interned abroad in Seoul at Prain Global, where I had the amusing experience of crafting tourism campaigns starring the artist Psy (yes, the Gangnam Style Psy) and being on the frontlines of their internationalization efforts.

Areas of learning

These days, I'm an active member of Superpath, a professional development network for Content Marketers. I'm also a proud graduate of Growclass, a part-time program for Growth Marketing Professionals.

I hold a bachelor's degree in literary journalism with a minor in political science from the University of California, Irvine.  From 2012–2013, I studied and worked abroad in Seoul at Yonsei University for a  full year with a focus on media, communications, and design.
